Nineteen of Medvedev's twenty-one titles have been achieved on hard surfaces
A revitalized the Russian player secured his maiden title for 882 days with success over opponent Moutet in the Almaty Open championship match.
The athlete, a former number one, has experienced a challenging period, managing just one match at the Grand Slams and suffering a setback at the American major.
Medvedev's inconsistency on the professional circuit - and struggles with his service game in especial - caused him falling of the top ten and finally separating with long-time coach Cervara.
Now collaborating with Thomas Johansson and Goetzke, Medvedev has gradually progressed in the past month - climaxing in a hard-fought 7-5 4-6 6-3 triumph over opponent Corentin Moutet.
It is Medvedev's initial championship following the 2023 Rome Masters and first on a hard court from March of the previous year.
The win also signifies Medvedev has won 21 victories at twenty-one distinct events.
"It's the first time I have attended a competition with my children simultaneously, so to win a trophy is especially meaningful," commented ranked player Daniil Medvedev.
"This victory is in tribute of my child my daughter, because the maiden victory I won when my child her name was born was for her."
The athlete, the past champion, had failed in his past six title deciders, including in Halle previously this season.
Medvedev's defensive strategy and recurring emotional displays on the tennis court had prompted commentators to question if his capacity to perform at the highest level was over.
Yet the 29-year-old has implemented adjustments in the past month, striving to approach the net and perform positively, reinforced by an enhanced serving game.
Medvedev came back from a deficit in the first set against the difficult opponent, winning 4 of the last five games to gain the advantage.
The pair traded breaks in the second set before Moutet, striving for his first professional title, gained dominance to create a decider.
The opponent defended four early-game break points in a tight deciding set before the Russian won the break to that score to serve for the match.
Appropriately, Medvedev clinched the title with a rally at the front of the court, with his opponent incapable to manage a volley after over two and a half hours.
