Despite these statements, a composed Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically known for his showmanship - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul instead targeted ex Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian declined a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at UK opponent Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul win.

In spite of saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to speak negatively about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he said.

Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in 2023.

Still, the relative newcomer is still one of boxing's largest commercial attractions, consistently making huge paydays.

The 28 year old forecast a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would stop the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly in the works for two years from now.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
